Just last month, it was Please login or register to see this link. that Please login or register to see this link. would soon be making its way to Nintendo Switch. Based on the 2016 release Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, this new Switch version contains some exclusive features, and a new trailer has now arrived to showcase exactly what you'll be getting your hands on when the game launches next year.

Just in case the scantily clad frolicking in general isn't quite enough for you, a new 'Soft 4D' engine has been added especially for Nintendo Switch. Using the Switch's HD Rumble, players will be able to interact with the girls on screen in new ways; apparently, the engine has been designed with the aim of "providing various jiggles" to work in tandem with the visuals on screen. Is it getting hot in here?

The trailer is actually for both the Switch and PS4 versions of the game, so expect to see some footage of the 'VR Paradise' mode for Sony's console, too. All nine girls present in the original game - Kasumi, Momiji, Hitomi, Helena, Marie Rose, Honoka, Nyotengu, Kokoro, and Ayane - will be joined by two extras for a total of eleven this time around, all of which will be able to take part in your chosen sports activities. If it wasn't clear - and we wouldn't blame you for missing it - this game is actually all about playing sports like beach volleyball and, Olympic Games favourite, 'Butt Battle'.

Check it out for yourself below (naturally, this video contains suggestive content :TohruSmug:).

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet launches in Japan on 20th March 2019; no western release has been confirmed just yet, but we'll make sure to keep an eye out for any more news.

Are you feeling a little excited for this one, or are you covering up your poor Joy-Con's IR camera before it gets anywhere near that Soft 4D gameplay? Let us know below.

Kind of ironic to see them doing so when Sony's becoming more... conservative?

The World Health Organization has been Please login or register to see this link. , “Gaming Disorder,” and they’ve finally made a final decision on the classification.
The WHO has officially acknowledged the disorder this weekend, at the 72nd World Health Assembly. This means the organization will officially recognize gaming as a potentially addictive behavior.
The group defines gaming addiction for both offline and online gaming in a similar way. Both are “characterized by a pattern of persistent or recurring gaming behavior,” while online gaming is “primarily conducted over the internet” and offline gaming is clearly not.
The supposed disorder arises in three ways:
Impaired control over gaming (e.g., onset, frequency, intensity, duration, termination, context) Increasing priority given to gaming to the extent that gaming takes precedence over other life interests and daily activities Continuation or escalation of gaming despite the occurrence of negative consequences. The behavior pattern is of sufficient severity to result in significant impairment in personal, family, social, educational, occupational or other important areas of functioning. “The pattern of gaming behavior may be continuous or episodic and recurrent,” the WHO state. “The gaming behavior and other features are normally evident over a period of at least 12 months in order for a diagnosis to be assigned, although the required duration may be shortened if all diagnostic requirements are met and symptoms are severe.”
Gaming regulatory bodies like the ESA and IGDA, as well as a multitude of professional psychologists, have all decried the WHO classifying gaming addiction as a clinical disorder.
Now that the WHO has recognized gaming addiction as a disorder, they have until 2022 to introduce new preventative measures and treatments, which I’m sure will be hilarious.

Things just keep getting worse for Huawei. The company was barred from being a member of the Please login or register to see this link. , the trade group responsible for standardizing SD and microSD cards. The change in status means that Huawei will no longer be able to offer official SD or microSD support in its devices, including phones and laptops.
The SD Association confirmed to Engadget that Huawei was dropped from the trade group in order to comply with recent orders from the US Department of Commerce. Following the epic backlash from Sonic fans the world over after Please login or register to see this link. , director Jeff Fowler Please login or register to see this link. . It seems that the VFX artists actually doing the work thankfully have a little more time to get it right this time.
While many Sonic fans - Please login or register to see this link. - breathed a sigh of relief at the initial news a redesign was in the works, others questioned the logistics involved in a redesigning the CG star of the movie in such a short space of time. Assuming it wasn't just a simply alteration to his face, retooling the entire film was going to be an epic undertaking and many worried that VFX artists would be crunching until the movie's previous November release date.
Well, it seems that those involved are committed to giving those artists the time they need. The director has taken to Please login or register to see this link. and confirmed that the movie will now open on Valentine's Day 2020:

We're sure the VFX artists charged with fixing things are happier with the new release date - that is assuming Paramount won't have them chained to their desks over Christmas. Looking at the image itself, we can see a conspicuously gloved hand and the silhouette on the sign appears very much like the hedgehog's classic Sonic Team logo. Hopefully this sign is a not-so-subtle hint at the direction of the redesigned character.
The pressure is still on though - the filmmakers can't afford to get it wrong a second time, so hopefully Sonic fans will be satisfied come February 14th 2020. If you need a reminder of the original trailer, here it is:
